Château Mornag is the world's well-known Tunisian wine, produced in the Mornag A.O.C. area. This region, in which wine production dates back to the magnificence of Carthage in theVIII century BC, is known for its sunny hillsides and its microclimate which is cold and wet during the winter, while being warm and dry in summer. Stem removal of Merlot, Cinsault and Carignan is followed by the fermentation of the first pressed juice for 15 days at a low temperature. This great wine is an excellent accompaniment for Mediterranean cooking.
