Château Mornag is the world’s well-known Tunisian wine, produced in the Mornag A.O.C. area.
This region, in which wine production dates back to the splendour of Carthage in the VIII century BC, is known for its sunny hillsides and its microclimate which is cold and wet during the winter, while being warm and dry in summer.

VINIFICATION
The grapes are hand harvested during the cool morning air to protect them from the heat of the day in summer. Stem removal is followed by the fermentation of the firstpressed juice for 15 days at a low temperature.
TASTING
A superb fruity nose featuring wild strawberry and redcurrant. Fleshy, highly expressive, refreshing and well balanced in the mouth with an impressively long aftertaste.
This is a wine for knowers.

ACCOMPANYING DISHES
This great wine is an excellent accompaniment for Mediterranean cooking of all kinds. Among the favourites we should mention diced vegetables, salmon pie, seafood in puff pastry, fish delicately roast in cream or sauce, and to round off a basket of seasonal southern Mediterranean fruit.
