Gris de Tunisie | vignerons de carthage

This great wine is produced in the Coteaux de Tébourba A.O.C. area.
This region located in the north of Tunisia, in the Carthage backcountry, is well-known for its semicontinental microclimate characterised by significant temperature changes, resulting in the perfect combination of freshness and aromatic strength.

  • Soil: Clay Limestone
  • Output: 40 hectolitres/hectare
  • Varietals: Grenache, Cinsault.

The grapes are hand harvested. After cooling the harvest, the free-run juice is stored in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks where it undergoes a 15-day slow fermentation

A shining pale rose coloured hue with slight hints of dark purple. The nose abounds in fruity overtones along with a slightly floral aroma contributing to its overall elegance.
This is a pleasant wine thanks to its fruity hints, its balance and its length on the palate.

During fine weather, when having friends round for a meal or a festive occasion, the Gris de Tunisie will not fail to delight your guests when served with a sea bream cooked in fennel, tortillas with chorizo sausage and cheese, a range of tapas dishes or a delicious tomato salad.
